On December 9, the 11th National Sports Award ceremony was held at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace on the territory of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex.

The National Sports Award is one of the most important awards in the field of sports in Russia. The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation together with fans and experts sum up the results and name the best in 11 categories. A total of 18 winners are determined.

The nominees and Laureates were presented with award cups, plaques, and badges made by the Art-Stone Jewelry House.
